Did the update to 0.8.0 ever happen or should I still be coding in 0.7.2 if I'm looking to deploy to android?

Sorry if it was mentioned in the tutorial thread you linked, I have a history of being an idiot and not noticing things like that

The jump to 0.8 has yet to happen (as far as I know at least, but I read everything in this section of the forums) but it probably will at some point. If you want to target the Android platform, write code that works on both versions. It's not that hard

I hope that you will post sample codes of Android programs using Eclipse.

I had started some things on my machine, but we decided to continue on 0.7.2. We will switch to the current version when 0.7.2 is done. Future ports will be faster, we learn a lot during the first port that will be analogue on future ones. We also hope that we will be able to move on for some modules by simple diff + patch.
At the moment, you should use 0.7.2.

I wanted to develop android Games as well.



I hope you can continue sharing about it, techniques on how to develop an effective apps:)
