UUID error when downloading love.js

Hello Love2d community!
I have recently migrated to a new computer and have been trying to install the excellent Love.js:https://github.com/Davidobot/love.js
But I have been recieving errors stating that I have the depreciated version of UUID:
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling pm2, uuid, npm and Node.js to no success.
Does anyone know how it would be possible to fix this, or otherwise use Love.js without npm installing it?
