problem with running first app

i write a helloworld code to my text editor, then i drag and drop file helloworld.love to love app icon (mac osx), i see an animated tank, not text
please help

Did you name the text file helloworld.love? That's not how it works. Call it main.lua and drag and drop the folder it's in onto Love.
