I don't get why we need this though. If people simply pad their images from the start you won't need to have something do it for you. I wish it was still built-in though.

But we shouldn't bring it back the way it was. I propose doing it differently, storing the original size so getWidth, getHeight and center calculation work. How that would be implemented is left as an exercise for the reader.

Hmm, the first thing that comes to mind is just a check whether the computer supports po2.

What if you round it to a pair number regardless of if it supports po2 or not?
