No, not at all. Just saying that you should stay away from situation where you adjust the volume of every file.
At least one file should be played with 100% and act as base.
So what is a tile? A meter? A centimetre? A kilometre? A lightyear? The lib must know how long a tile is for stuff to work.
Or just scale like:
S:setPosition(x*Scale,y*Scale)
For a 50 pixel tile using the "exponend" distance model i used a scale of 0.01 in my games before.

A tile is has 16x16 pixels and is the size of the player. Is a 0.01 scale still fine.
