Re: Steam Deck
Isn't steam deck is just arch linux?
Re: Steam Deck
SteamOS 3.0 (Linux), 1280x800 @ 60 Hz and some custom input system, that [must be] available in Löve.

Re: Steam Deck
Custom input system?
isn't it just standart gamepad and 2 touchpads(which, i assume, will be working like standart sticks, but, well, on touchpad; like it was on steam controller)?
Re: Steam Deck
For me the gamepad controller has custom input system, last time I've played such thing in '90s.
But here is two analog sticks, two touchpads, touchscreen, arrows (D-pad), XYAB-buttons and other buttons.
And I have no idea how it must be used together.
Re: Steam Deck
uh...
Like on pc?
gamepad with that, probably? https://www.love2d.org/wiki/love.joystick
two analog sticks - just 4 axis
touchpads - (from what i can see on trailers, videos, etc about steam deck) they just just emulate regular sticks (and, possible for working outside games, they may emulate standart touchpad)
touchscreen - just regular mouse left/right buttons, duh?
arrows (D-pad) - regular dpad?
XYAB-buttons - regular buttons?
I guess, you just worry about something, that you shouldn't
Steam deck uses proton to run non-linux games, even that games, that will be never updated to work properly with linux or steam deck, so Valve will do everything to make games as much as possible backward compatible with regular gamepads, touchscreens, mouses, etc
