Sounds to me like you never had any intention to use either LOVE or Lua and came here just to post your flimsy excuse not to do so. You could've simply never did it in the first place, or stopped doing it for no other reason than not wanting to. So what's the point of all this?

I think you just need to read the Lua manual more carefully. The Lua language works perfectly and allows you to nest tables as much as you want - although like I mentioned before it's not very good practice to do that anyways.
