ZeroBrane - detach console window to 2nd monitor?

Post by togFox »

I have my game and IDE on one monitor and console on the other so I can watch debug in real time. Can't find a way to detach the console (output) to another screen. Is there a config setting for this?

Windows.

Am I the only one working in the IDE and then after F6 game window hides it and can't see console/output or watch window?

Guess ALT-Tab is my friend.

Well, if you double click here

that window will be floating
Image
So you can place it on 2nd monitor
But you may found luck with https://github.com/rxi/lovebird which basically browser-based
Or https://github.com/rameshvarun/love-console - in-game console, but it doesn't support utf8 and there couple problems
(https://github.com/Vovkiv/love-console, week ago, i forked it and fixed couple issues, like utf8 and so on, but it still not that good and, well, this fork was not intended to be used by anyone but me;
Maybe, if i will have spare time, i will make my own version of this console since i really like it and share it;
maybe someone will found it usefull)
