where can I host binary files

Post by togFox »

I'd like to compile my love game (alpha) and make the zip file available to alpha testers but couldn't find a free file hosting site without silly limits (e.g. Dropbox) or inappropriate adult advertising (eg mediafire etc).

Any suggestions? I can tolerate some inconveniences (ads) but nothing over the top.

How about itch.io?

What limits are you talking about? I never had trouble sharing files through Dropbox, though it's been a while now.

I remember uninstalling drop box some time ago because they changed the rules in an effort to get more subscribers. I can't remember exactly what it is.

I only need 10 - 40 meg choir my game, assets and love system files.

I have an itch account and I believe I can control releases with secret url's etc. I'll look into that.
