If there is a lot to do then a small sound release prior to 0.4 would be nice :)

@rude: thx :). openal seems to be better for lalalove than the sdlmixer. also for a macosx port for me :)

Do you took a look at sfxr for creating sinewave sounds. -> http://www.cyd.liu.se/~tompe573/hp/project_sfxr.html

i think the code is handy enough to include it into Löve to create sounds. It would be awesome to create sounds at runtime from the 8bit era.
