This is undoubtedly a great step forward. I am totally happy about that.
I'd like to thank the dev team, and all those who contributed to this.
Since the trend about Love 0.9.0 has started, I haven't paid so much attention to the features, so I now have a lot to catch up.
Anyway, that's great. Let us spread the news out there :)

What operating systems don't have Love 0.9.0 JIT by default?

All supported platforms with binary builds have been built against luajit. All supported platforms have luajit selected as default lua implementation for source builds.

Congratulations! This is an awesome release. I love that LÖVE uses luajit by default. It must be the most high profile project to use luajit, no? Also, that implies that we get access to bitwise operations via bitop, right?

WYSIWYG.
