[solved] Pointless question: why "t"?

Post by T-Bone »

Something I've never understood but never bothered to find out: in https://love2d.org/wiki/Config_Files, the argument to love.conf is "t". Why "t"? Is it short for something? Just wondering :neko:

I'd say "game" or something like that would make more sense. Not that it really matters.

I've wondered this myself. Does it matter if it's a t? Is t significant? Or is it just arbitrary?

Note that in your own games, you can name it whatever you want: game, cool_coolcoolcool, theargumenttoloveconfthatpointstotheconfigurationtable, ...

Also interesting: in boot.lua, the same table is called c (presumably for "configuration").
