Love the LÖVE engine very much!
Will there be a iPad version LÖVE?
Then we can do program in LÖVE at any time, any place.
Waiting for "the great developing environment"!

Fun fact: you can program for LÖVE at any time, any place already, given that you have a text editor handy (I've heard from a few friends that they like Textastic, for example). :D Of course, testing it is a whole different ball game. The last update to the iOS version of LÖVE was around 4 months ago, if I remember right.

I will get the new ipad2. Then i will port nLove to it.

Thanks.

I wonder if we can do programming and testing on iPad with LÖVE engine. Not only running game made by LÖVE.
If it's possible, We could develope games at any time, any where.

It seems there are some Lua env on iPad(search Lua in iTune), but could not programming the LÖVE engine.

Why would you base it off of nLOVE? Wouldn't you want to take advantage of hardware acceleration?

Hm, programming on the iPad? It should be possible, but having to use the on-screen keyboard makes it pretty much impossible to do actual work on it.

Programming on the iPad? I doubt it. But, to get anywhere I think you would probably have to jailbreak it to get the programs you need... and you wouldn't be able to do it without an external keyboard, but those might be a pain anyhow.

Shure, but porting nLove first would be easier. I don't know Objective-C and also not XCode. So...start with an easier project is more intelligent ;-).
