I actually have a system for that kind of thing that is similar to the tooltips you might have seen in the AudioTree prototype only it lights up the action box the cursor is over instead of displaying a tooltip, just havent used it yet in AudioTree, though I'll surely get some use out of it in this smaller project.
Dull but sincere filler.

Cool. I'm planning a venture into the realms of gui, I'll keep a check on your project :)
Do you recognise when the world won't stop for you? Or when the days don't care what you've got to do? When the weight's too tough to lift up, what do you? Don't let them choose for you, that's on you.

I'm working on a Gene Pool-like simulation, less focused on anatomy (although still relevant) and more focused in evolving the creatures' brains using genetic algorithms. I'm using spiking neural networks.

My goal is to have carnivorous and cannibal creatures in addition to herbivores. So far I have working brains, and I'm finishing up the physics.

Im completely new to Love so my project is not game instead its a software oriented for electronics that throw comercial values to form a resistance that you want. This is a problem every elechtronic has so I thought it was a good idea, so im working on this to understand how Lua and Love works. It is really good and simple so I think that when I finish this project I am gonna make my own game. Soon im going to be posting some of the GUI that I created for this project, but it is still in progress because I began this a day ago. If you have any question about this project just ask me
for i, person in ipairs(everybody) do
[tab]if not person.obey then person:setObey(true) end
end

Never got into making web games, always wanted to. Is it difficult?

Yes and no. I know my toolset and have a lot of experience in the area, but there's a lot of things you can easily trip up if you're not looking for them.

Although I will admit that I am considering trying out three.js, but not for the MVP.
