Offline LÖVE documentation for download

Post by qubodup »

Hello. One day, I was going to be on the train without online connection. Because of that I downloaded the documentation using a command from these instructions. Later, the LÖVE team created an automatically generated download:

 docs.zip (OFFICIAL)

Historic:

I would like to suggest, that a cronjob is used to create a zip of all documentation every day and then provided for download! :) Following site might be helpful (and it looks awesome too!): http://www.noah.org/wiki/MediaWiki_notes#wget

:awesome: love2dwiki-2010-08-09.7z (not official) :awesome:

PS: the train will be driving to Amsterdam!

-- Don't force fullscreen (it frustrates those who want to try your game real quick) -- Develop for 1280x720 (so people can make HD videos)

I would suggest
You can download a copy of the Wiki documentation. Problems are best reported in this thread.
Also.. it might make life easier for some if there was a folder with index.html in it and all the actual files would be in a subfolder. Perhaps. The docs should somehow contain info of what day it is from.

hm. for some reason the sidebar widget "documentation" appears twice - with love2d.org and converted links. weird.

Thanks to meegee in IRC, I managed to get a better solution up. It's now 40% more awesome.

Also, I applied some Sticky Stuph® to this thread.
