Re: Jäger - A Point and Click Framework

I love first-person adventure games, but you must beware of the utter lack of quality that is attached to this idea: http://www.adventuremaker.com/ I'm not sure why, but because Myst was so good people think that they can just slap together any-old static images and have a cohesive and enthralling a...

Slipfeed (once again)

Slipfeed (http://slipfeed.com), my pet project and the main reason why I haven't been very active with LÖVE in the past year has come with a new version and I welcome all of you to come take a look. For the uninitiated: Slipfeed is a community for developers/playahs of indie games and has been aroun...

Re: An idea: Löve me

How about "Hot-n-Steamy"? A program that connects to a p2p network of distributed LÖVE games where you can browse the different projects available on other people's computers and share your own. You would be able to download whichever ones you want and play them to your hearts content alon...

Re: Documentation(love0.5.0) about love.graphics.newFont use

We should probably make a reference to the default_font variable (which is a number, btw ;)), but the documentation will hopefully be improved when the new version rolls around.

Re: Inventory Tetris

I would suggest only having the salesman say "Thank You" when you get a complete Tetris (that would be when you clear 4 lines). Otherwise it would just get annoying. Also, maybe you could surround the blocks with a faint outline (perhaps only after they've been placed down) so as to ease t...

Re: DEVötiön IDE (Now available for Download!)

Does C# have regular expressions? If so, the check should probably be "(nonalphanumeric)if(nonalphanumeric)" (with (nonalphanumeric) replaced with the right escape code.) If not, how about looking for " if " (but \n and \t have to be replaced by " " in a temporary stri...

Re: Uniform GUI API?

I think that this would just become problematic. Creating a single API structure that all GUIs must follow will only serve to stifle the potentials of the various libraries and in the end people will just circumvent the API because it doesn't serve their needs (like: "hai gys, i made this new G...
