Re: Unnecessary use of the umlaut
Ö is more commonly used in handwriting than in digital, print or typewriting. It's especially common among older people (50+), not sure why. Ø is the official Norwegian character, and is therefore an own character on our keyboards, and is the character taught in school. In Norwegian Ö is often not e...

Re: LOVE and vim
Coding is complex text editing. I can't imagine working on a project with many files at the same time in vim, I'm sure it can handle multiple buffers like emacs, but I prefer a tabbed text editor/IDE for that. And btw. I've never had to do any setting up to get colouring in vim. It just works out of...

Re: Unnecessary use of the umlaut
Who are Röyksopp?. Two guys from northern Norway (Tromsø), I used to think they were from Bergen, but that's just where they formed the band. And yes, they spell it ö, in Norwegian you can use either ø or ö for the same sound, but the phonetic alphabet uses ø. Ö is more common in handwriting, since...

Re: Collision detection in Löve?
Have a look at the Body documentation posted above.
There are getters and setters for other physical attributes like velocity which might come in handy.

Re: Unnecessary use of the umlaut
Most English speakers can't tell Dutch and Norwegian apart. Neither can most Germans, they always mistake Norwegians for Dutch people. The languages are so similar, I think you could probably be able to read a lot of Norwegian and understand it. EDIT: Oh, and squares and circles are the same thing. ...

Re: LOVE and vim
I'm with mike too. I'd much rather use Smultron. I use vim occasionally in uni though, only because I had to use putty on windows. Sardtok: do you know LISP? Nah, I've never looked into it. It looks like it has an interesting syntax, though. Btw. if you have a good connection to your uni, you could...

Re: LOVE and vim
Yeah, I'd go with Mike.
I only use vim for some simple text editing.
For code I'd much rather use emacs, or a proper GUI-based IDE.

***EVIL PHONETICS AHEAD*** * zig zig zig * You never cease to amaze me. I'm glad I can give you such joy and amazement! At least this time I gave you a warning that a bunch of EVIL PHONETICS were waiting, so you didn't actually have to read it before ziggifying it. Bartbes and Robin: Dut...

The front page is nice, you might want to create a link back to it (for instance make the logo a link to it). You might want to have server-side validation of category strings for the category views. Maybe show the number of snippets in parentheses next to a category, or hide empty categories from t...
