CC+ for copyleft compatibility
Fellow copyleft enthusiasts are probably aware of its greatest flaw: the share-alike requirement prevents remixing between different copyleft licenses. For those who are not familiar with the situation, I provide an example: Let's say I take a game that is under the GPL, with artwork under CC-by-SA ...

Re: Subway game - need help making it fun
Ok, think about this. You make points every time a passenger enters the station. If passengers get mad, they get red, and start to push other passengers more. You lose points every second for the amount of mad passengers in the station. If a passenger gets pushed too much, he gets mad too, and chaos...

Re: wiki DISPLAYTITLE
To have things work the way I had imagined, I'd have to edit [wiki]Template:i18n[/wiki] and [manual]Template:Lang[/manual]. It would take quite some work It would require special permissions (and those templates are protected for a reason) I can only think of doing it with an inline query, and that ...

wiki DISPLAYTITLE
Sorry to write yet another post about the wiki, but this is something I can't do on my own. The only thing in the way of my world domination wiki translation plan is that I can't change a page's DISPLAYTITLE. It probably has to do with this , but that goes too deep in the wiki structure, I can't/sho...

Portuguese Wiki terminology - PORTUGUESE SPEAKERS UNITE!
Hey there, people! I've been working on a project to improve the way wiki translations are handled. I had gotten to a point where I was almost ready to show it to you, and had already translated all functions related to love.audio, Data, Decoder, SoundData, Source, File, and a few others. But then I...

[DONE!] wiki param improved. can #ask be improved?
I've improved the wiki's param template, so now it accepts a fourth optional argument for the name to be displayed in the link. This way we can display a "Source" text that links to "Source (Português)", for example. The only part of the wiki that still forces us to use pages' aw...

Re: C.M.Y.K - local multiplayer game
Do the Controllers work on Wine? Just tested it with 4 controllers from different brands, they all work. There could have been some trouble if the controls were more complex (because of different controller brands ordering the buttons differently), but they're quite simple, so it works swell. Even ...

Re: C.M.Y.K - local multiplayer game
I'm quite sure most people who don't have either wine or LÖVE will prefer to install the latter than the former... Wow, people with Linux that don't have Wine installed. I'm sure they're out there, but it amazes me. Also, I don't remember where exactly but another person already pointed out (some y...

Re: C.M.Y.K - local multiplayer game
I do that a lot, actually, for non-LÖVE games. Why compile stuff if the Windows version works? In this case, it's the same, we'd have to compile 0.7.2, but hey, we don't.Nixola wrote:Why should we test it when we have LÖVE running natively on Linux?

Re: C.M.Y.K - local multiplayer game
SiENcE, you should put up a big sign saying THIS GAME RUNS ON WINE. Cause it does. Come on, guys, did none of you test it?
Anyway, seems pretty interesting. I'll definitely make a video if I ever get back to making videos. Someday.
