Re: Introducing the Wiki-Based-RPG
Importing is a good idea! I might add that, though it'll be quite a bit of work. I don't know about the give command. One can always write: /do gives the item to the robot /use 1 robot which should work well enough. If I start adding a give command like that, I'd also have to add other verbs as comm...

Re: Bézier Curve - Getting back!
The coolest use of Beziers I've ever seen is in blender's node-based post-processing editor: http://www.freewebs.com/pwnage303/screens/bloom_DOF.jpg
Very intuitive and fun to use.

Very nice!
I like bezier curves
Have you thought about softening the edges somehow?
Are you using it for anything?

Re: Introducing the Wiki-Based-RPG
Hi, I finally managed to upload the file. I was away from home for a while, and it hadn't worked before because I had accidentally packed the work folder, which was larger than the size limit on the forums. My bad. The .love is now attached to the first post. Also, the game was mentioned on indiegam...

Re: Introducing the Wiki-Based-RPG
Haha, Inny, it seems like you're getting the hang of it,yes :) I attached the .love file. A question though: When using the .love file, the Help files are not found. They're inside a subfolder of the Archive, "Help/main.txt" etc. In the code, I try to open them like this: local helpFile = ...

Re: Spaceship building
I like the idea of building your own spaceship. What doesn't work well yet: if you pick up a piece, it always jumps. To avoid this, instead of having a predefined relative distance between mouse pointer and moved object, you should get the distance upon clicking, store that, and move the picture wit...

Introducing the Wiki-Based-RPG
Edit: For newest version, see this post : ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, I'd like to introduce one of the craziest games I've ever created, the Wiki-Based-RPG. Gameplay is very experimental!...

Re: Trouble with German Keyboard
Thanks! Will keep track of it.
Too bad it's only fixable in the source code... I wanted to distribute .love files when the game is done, and then it wouldn't work when people download the 0.80 version.
Oh well. No Question marks in my game then.

Trouble with German Keyboard
Hi, When I try to enter text using a German keyboard, all the Keys are captured correctly, except for those which don't exist in english (or so it seems). Using the following, it prints nothing (i.e. the function isn't called) when I press ü, ö or ö or ß. This leads to me not being able to print '?'...

Re: LPad [LOVE script editor]
Here's the mandatory: "will there be a Linux-version"-question
With löve being cross-platform, it'd be cool if there would be windows (and maybe Mac) versions of the editor...
