Re: Pixilated circle

Ahh ok, I think in this case you need love.graphics.setLineStyle . Unfortunately it's not likely to produce the results you expect. function love.draw() love.graphics.setLineStyle("smooth") love.graphics.circle("line", 100, 100, 12) love.graphics.setLineStyle("rough") l...

Re: Pixilated circle

A pixel is a pixel. There isn't enough resolution in one pixel to represent a circle [edit: or any figure other than a square] with any accuracy. The question doesn't make sense to me.

Re: Favourite unique games

Oh yes, now that Zorg mentioned Fez, I was reminded of Echochrome! Great and very unique game that has inspired many others, probably including Fez itself.

Re: Favourite unique games

Too many to list. If I have to mention the most unique one above all others, that would probably be The Sentinel. Its successor Sentinel Returns is more of a remake than a sequel. Hard to get in the beginning, the eerie atmosphere captivates you into a world where conservation of energy is enforced ...

Re: If statement and Goto

Re: More than 4 Gamepads

I'd bet that this is not a Löve issue, but an upstream issue, either SDL or the OS.

Re: [SOLVED] with making an OLD project work again

math.random() without args returns a number between 0 and 1 and could be used to port the program to Löve 11; math.random(1) will always return 1. Same with love.math.random() vs love.math.random(1). With LuaJIT, there isn't any advantage of the Löve version other than that it's initialized by defau...

Re: peer-2-peer network?

If someone needs to enter the IP of another node to connect to, then that's a manual bootstrapping. If many nodes just stand idle waiting for connections, there's no network.

Re: peer-2-peer network?

In a decentralized system, you still need to have a centralized server in order to bootstrap. Kademlia and DHT work like that; you need a list of known clients to start with.
