Collision library that take rotation in to account
Hi all! I am looking for a collision library that also take rotation in to account. For now I only need rectangle shape. Yes I can see there is lot of discussions on the forum about this that usually end with recommending the HardonCollider library: https://github.com/vrld/HC However, my problem wit...

Re: Devs of love2d which os do you use ?
When it comes to accessibility features and the way you can set it up, I think macOS is killing it. Apple and their products can be hated for a lot of things, but personally I find it incredible tha fact they include completely free Automator and Shortcuts which allow you to automate any task on you...

Re: Devs of love2d which os do you use ?
I have never heard of anyone having the problems ddabrahim mentions, ever. I have this kind of problems with repositories mostly with Ubuntu based distros but always. I normally also use the community repos and proprietary staff. That could be a problem if the same package is coming from two repos ...

Re: Devs of love2d which os do you use ?
Well, that certainly debatable They certainly do their analyses and statistics but Apple did make lot of people angry with some of their data and privacy protection policies. If I remember Facebook even threatened to sue Apple and to make Facebook paid on iOS and at some point Google was also nerve...

Re: Devs of love2d which os do you use ?
I am using a Mac because Apple software is good software, maybe not better than others but it is good, reliable, secure and privacy focused and I like the overall experience, look and feel, smoothness and the integration with iOS. Long story: Like everybody I was using Windows up until Windows XP at...

Re: Retro handheld consoles anyone?
Curious to know if you can manage to run it and if yes how. The problem I see is that if it isn't connected to the internet you won't be able to install love but even if it is connected and it is based on Ubuntu it doesn't mean the repositories are enabled. But even if you have connection and the re...

Re: Are there any Love2D alternatives?
I was kind of forced in to using Python recently and I have explored the available libraries for it. One Python library that is pretty similar to Love2D (apart from Raylib) is Pyglet: https://pyglet.org It is similar to Love2D in that regard there is no dependencies and very minimalist, offer only a...

Re: Retro handheld consoles anyone?
I know how it feels, this is also one of the reason I don't really target mobile, there are so many jump arounds to get simple staff working it is insane. This is why I think the best option is a Windows/Linux portable but usually those are very expensive. Although some of these emulator consoles in...

Re: This forum needs more moderators
I do it for posts that look like spam (as I said in the part you edited out of the quote). For example I approved this post about half an hour after it was made Yes but what if you and other moderators busy with life staff for a couple weeks no time for the forum. I can't imagine you always be arou...

Re: This forum needs more moderators
I often let it sit for a few days because if it did come from a spam bot they tend to edit the post afterward to include spam links in that case. The problem with this however, when someone is desperate to ask a question but the post is on hold for days it can be extremely frustrating. in the past ...
