WordPlay: An educational game for under 6s
Hi all, I know this is pretty niche(!) but I thought I'd share anyway. If you have young children learning to talk, read and spell, here's a little game I made with löve. The different gamemodes are: Say It! -- Basically just flashcards. A picture appears and the word is read out. Suitable for under...

25, okay that gives me a target!
Yes, the .love file works fine. For some reason I can't add the game to my itch collection that way though. It's fine as a download but not through the itch app. Could just be for me though.

Re: Labyrinth of Legendary Loot - turn-based roguelike released on itch.io
Really, really so good. Amazed by what the Löve community create! [edit:] Continuing to love this game -- especially love the variety yet balance in the weaponry and enemies. It's challenging and fun. Out of curiosity, how many floors are there? It's definitely tricky on 'normal' difficulty... and I...

Re: Sludgeman (a little platformer attempt)
I've been in the habit of returning to old games I'd started lately so I've moved this one on a bit. The collisions are now less buggy (still not perfect!) and there are 20+ levels, with boss fights every 10 levels. I plan to produce 100 levels... eventually! It now has an itch.io page here: Play Sl...

Re: Hexanimals
Thanks milon, that's helpful feedback. Here's a quick YouTube video that shows the basics of how to play: C_zmPiDGpp4 I'll look to add an in-game tutorial at some point. For now, here's a bit more of a full explanation. MAIN MENU Campaign: Play against the AI, unlock cards by winning. Winning on dif...

Hexanimals
Hi all, This is the third reincarnation of a CCG idea I've been trying (see previous post Habitat Wars ). I've added a hexagonal grid to the gameplay which changes things quite a bit. Aim The aim of the game is now to get any of your creatures across the board from your HOME to your opponent's HOME....

Re: Three in a Rogue - Match3 meets Roguelike
Looks good! It took me a little while to understand how the match-3 mechanics worked and that they only happen when there are enemies around to defeat, but then the game became a lot of fun! Well done! A few extra thoughts for improvement... - As far as I can tell, there's not a lot of difference be...

Re: Detecting Apple Trackpad
Okay, thanks. Sounds like it's not possible to get access to the multi-touch capability then? I was thinking of making use of things like the pincer movement for zoom. The two finger scroll does get picked up by love.mouse.wheelmoved at least.
