Gosh that idea fairy is cruel.. Yep been there. Sometimes still am. What helps is to make a list of features you want to add, and stick to it. If you know what you want in the end, you won't waste time ooh-ing and aah-ing in between code. Also apparently it is as useful to make a not-todo list. Thin...

I am making a point-and-click adventure library called SLIME. It is only two weeks old and still under heavy development, but the functionality that is there works.
