Arrow keys don't work for me, only up arrow key for moving up, otherwise nothing else works. In other Love2D games no problems.

Is there a way to load love in the Lua interactive interpreter, and run run, so you can basically play with love in real time? Or something? Ad 3: Yes, you can load external file out of .love file, e.g. use lua file manipulation functions directly and provide a separate video file.

Yes, there is: .bin packages or .sh scripts that take care of everything else.
