Re: Server move incoming, expect a little bit of downtime

I copied over the theme straight from the server so the vertical spacing issues must be a side effect of updating Mediawiki... somehow.

I commented out the size overrides I could find to hopefully bring it in line more with the default template.

Re: Invalid form submitted when logging in and other problems...

Whenever I log in it tells me an invalid form is submitted and I should try again, unless I get lucky and somehow manage(I could barely login to type this, and can barely log in to reply to stuff). There are also other issues like me being logged out but I still see my name at the bottom of people ...

Re: Server move incoming, expect a little bit of downtime

The wiki should be working now. Let me know if anything is exceptionally broken (except for the theme, I know about that already). One of the things I had to update was Semantic MediaWiki, which had a scary warning about needing to migrate some stuff. If you see something strange in the fancy autoge...

Server move incoming, expect a little bit of downtime

The current server is getting dangerously dusty so I am currently in the process of moving stuff over to a new home. Once I've got most of the large stuff transferred I am going to lock the forums and wiki and transfer the databases over for those. Therefore, there will be an hour or two where you m...

Re: Blacklisted

Cloudflare does not automatically block visitors who use the Tor network. https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/203306930-Understanding-Cloudflare-Tor-support-and-Onion-Routing Rest assured, I have no intention of blocking Tor visitors. The switch to Cloudflare was necessary in order to ...

Re: Wiki Issue

Indeed. It wasn't able to write to /tmp because it was read-only and that broke a few things while that was happening.
It shouldn't happen again.

ivan wrote: Thu May 24, 2018 4:50 am Wait, you're using a physical server instead of cloud hosting?
Indeed. I've had some bad experiences with cloud hosting, and I also use the server for other things, so a machine all to my own is nice.

Today's downtime

The server went down for 27 hours today and there is a very simple explanation for that, which you might have heard if you had visited IRC or Discord. The main harddrive in the server reported a broken sector and Linux locked it into read-only mode to prevent further data loss. As soon as I found ou...

New server!

As of today, the LÖVE community will now be hosted on a faster, larger and sparklier server. The immediate change you will see out of this is that the attachment size limit has been raised to a whopping 100 megabytes. If you're sensitive to change, you might also notice things running a tad bit fast...

You mean the one that one guy made? I guess he ran out of investor funding.

If you guys didn't know already, Project Hawkthorne already has automatically building binaries. Take a look and see what you can copy.
