Re: TextMate bundle, auto-complete and tooltips.
fraise-lua.png Mac users may consider Fraise as an option since it have syntax for LUA. Fraise is an updated fork of faithful Smultron. It don't have auto-complete (for LUA) and other stuff like Textmate but it's free and awesome lightweight and NATIVE COCOA. I do my LOVE work there. http://www.fra...

Re: Paralax Scrolling BG + Sprite Animations
You could try something out-the-box and more conceptual. For example explore things like transport to a distant goal an object (the box, a ball) in the air without letting it fall. The samurai delivery man who broke his legs, is forbidden to carry things with his hands, but must fly packages to the...

Obstacles in ground and air would nasty your efforts adding risk in object fall. What about transport a Asian Dragon eg...

Re: What should I call this adorable little platformer?
Thanks for the support and kind words everyone! If anyone has any 8-bit GB sounding sound effects that might fit this game, I'd love to have some. Simple things like falling objects, crashing, some death sounds, dropping from a ledge, climbing and walking, opening a door. Other stuff that might fit...

Re: What should I call this adorable little platformer?
No, it won't be a full puzzle. It will have puzzles. But the platforming aspects will be more like Solomon/Fire 'n' Ice (Which is what SK2 was called in the US). I will be adding switches, and movable objects, pushable blocks (Like SK2/FnI) and such, moving platforms, all sorts of stuff. Not to men...

Re: What should I call this adorable little platformer?
Anyone remember Fire 'n' Ice ? Played a lot first Salomon's key. Didn't knew there was a follow-up. So, are you turning this game to less plataformer and add a bit more of "puzzler" like Solomon's then... BTW I remember that I liked a lot SK. Spent some nice hours playing ZX Spectrum port...

Re: What should I call this adorable little platformer?
Actually, I used to have an Automator action set up to ZIP (It ran it as a Terminal command) all the files in my Adventure game, rename it to "Adventure.love" and move it to the desktop. I will use that and upload it next time and someone can tell me if it includes the files. cd /Users/ja...
