I believe Linux also has the same abilities. If all you want is comments with that then you might be able to compile it, as LuaC might be able to handle it. Then LOVE would never have to touch the UTF-8. Also, did you guys no that Alt+O produces [ l i s t = ] [ / l i s t ]. I was curious if that was...

The game is open source, the point of compiling the source is to speed up execution. Ever read the manual for LuaC?

Hm...this is an interesting way to do things. The problem is that if there is an error in the save for some reason, the entire game could crash. There should be some sort of exception handler for syntax errors etc. Possible upside: if there is a function to compile Lua code, then you could make the ...

You know, when I came up on this site and saw "OBEY" on everybody's avatars, I was like "hm...what the ####". I'd upload my avatar, but the User Control Panel says that avatars have been disabled.
