You make a table named "Player", with a capital P. But then in most of the code you type "player.variable" with a lowercase p. Though I would recommend sticking to using "self" as you do when you declare the player width.

A friendly tip is to always include the solution that you found and are using. Because when other people search for a similar thing all they find is that you solved it, but not how.

It is very difficult to help you out with so little information. But if you just want ideas on how to vary the AI, the answer can be to change the speed like pgimeno suggested, or adding a "reaction time", basically a delay to the AI that tries to simulate a human. So any change the AI "wants to do"...

Remember that you mouse coordinates are not affected by the camera. So it if your screen in 1920x1080, then your camera.x will be 0-1920, even if you have moved 10 000 pixels to the right.
