Hi everyone!
So I am absolutely just starting with Love but just from the tutorials it seems great
Having used/loved(no umlaut) lua pre-love, I'm wondering are there things I need to unlearn?
A general conversation area might not be bad, I just feel out of place when really I don't "need" info,
I mostly just want to talk, hope thats ok.
cheers
Scott

Re: Unlearn
im kinda in the same boat, using various different lua thingmabobs in the past
as i poke around with love, i dont really think theres much, if anything to "unlearn"
theres plenty to get used to tho

Re: Unlearn
Glad to hear it
I'm pretty excited to play with love some more
if only school wouldn't get in the way

Re: Unlearn
rude has been pretty clear in some posts that the dev team is committed to keeping all baseline lua functionality intact.
Case in point: love uses degrees, though the lua math functions are in radians. So now the plan is apparently to change the defaults in love, to better conform to vanilla lua.
The only real split I'm aware of is in the include and io. functionalities, which were limited in a few modest ways.
