We got to a fight, where the boss was bugged (to be fair, everything was). I could see my party's movement but the enemies didn't move and were invulnerable.
I've had that issue playing with a friend and it's something I'm gonna look into and try and fix before the end of the week.

A chat would be ideal to have too. I was struggling with a fight and bread and CrimsonSomething came in and helped me, then we roamed the world together. Hahah loved it.
Sounds like you played with someone from my uni course! The full game will have chat, in fact the Christmas Alpha event will have chat also. More on that soon!

Totally agree with this, it's something that'll be more obvious in the next Alpha.

I exited with alt F4 after the bugged fight and joined, but I started from zero. Shame, would have kept playing.
This is a fundamental issue so I'm going to look into it right now.
I can actually see that no-one's character is saving properly, which is an issue for obvious reasons.

Characters don't time out in this version so if someone closes the game their character persists. This'll be fixed for next Alpha!
