weird shape with mesh
I am trying to make a image look skinnier and faded out at one end. I had it working until I added one more coordinate could someone please help

Can you describe more precisely, what does not work?
In case you want the image to fade out, then you only need a mesh with four vertices, namely one on each corner.
I made an example with two different ways of making the image thinner. However, if you want to create a perspective looking result, that will not work with meshes easily. In the example you see some zig-zag graphics effects in the upper left. That is caused by the way, meshes work.
If you are going to do more with meshes, then I suggest, for test you replace the image by an image with more colors and details in it. That way it is much easier to see, what is going on with the mesh.
