Great collection, shame about the license though. Including "youtube community guidelines" as a term of use makes it risky to use, since you can retroactively revoke the license based on some vague guidelines based upon another entity that can change them without notice. Defeats the whole point of the original CC license if you modify it to be revoked with a terms of use loophole like that.

Not saying you can't license as you see fit, just letting you know why I can't use it.

Same here actually; if it was me, i'd rather just edit the licence if i didn't want people to use it in things i deem immoral or something, but if you're only doing this because you'd want to make it easier on people to use it with youtube or something (both your images and your sounds) then i fail to see how that would make anything easier.

Good point, guys, thank you. I'll look into possibly rewriting that part of the license. The point of it is that I simply don't want my work in anything obscene or pornographic. Thanks for your input...I really appreciate it.

I've added new images on this page:

TXR - CONCRETE/PAVEMENT
http://soundimage.org/txr-concrete/

And started a new page:

TXR - STUCCO
http://soundimage.org/txr-stucco/

As always, feel free to edit as needed.

Have a good weekend! :-)

your thread's title is "Building a Library of Images for Everyone" not "Building a Library of Images for Everyone except those who don't conform to my arbitrary personal moral standards" though

I'm not really referring to my "arbitrary moral standards" as much as the legal definition. But if you have issues with it, then please simply pass me by.

Anyhow...

I've added a bunch of new images to the following page:

TXR - WOOD
http://soundimage.org/txr-wood/

I hope some of them are helpful!

'legal definition' depends on a specific jurisdiction.. in what country do u live that has a legal definition of obscenity?
