Signed up for a writer slot. Sounds like fun.

Just incase someone didn't see the message I made at the IRC channel for the blog, comments don't support new lines too.

Josefnpat: The favicon should be different than the löve forum one.

Sounds good. It will be a bit, as we need to wait a bit for the initial Board Members to settle and figure out the process.

Great! Please expect a delay on applications for writers and moderators.

Thanks, I did see that, I'll look into that!

What would be a better icon? I noticed that the wiki, the forums and the main site all have the same favicon.

It's just that when you have a lot of tabs open (which us löver types often do) it's easier to distinguish sites since the icon is all that is viewable on the tab bar.

Perhaps a simple recolour? That might be useful for the wiki too. Blue for forums/homepage, pink for wiki and green for the blog?

A recolor in the tabs favicon is convenient, as I have over 20 tabs open every time. Don't believe me?

I have made quite a few changes with the guidance of the other board members;

Please keep in mind, we are still ironing out the kinks in this website, so bear with us.
  • A simple one, I have changed the favicon color;

  • The commenting system has now been enhanced:

  • Only board members can view applications. This was debated on the IRC channel, but we feel if we make the comments private, there can be more honest conversation among the board members. When an application is submitted, you will see the following screen;

  • A voting system has been implemented for the applications to help tally votes for applications:

  • An updated header has been made for the application section to help clarify the conditions of Accepting and Rejecting applications. In either case, a board member will attempt to communicate (most likely on the forums) with the applicant to explain the outcome!

Your application has not been lost, it's just only visible to board members.
