Oops I did it again I played with serialization, got lost in the game Oh baby, baby bitser is the ultimate serialization library for LÖVE: Uses LuaJIT to be superfast and superefficient Just like Lady and binser, it supports registering resources (like Image, Source, anything) and classes (MiddleCl...

Re: Update WIKI tutorials to 0.10.0

That would be a very good idea! The wiki is supposed to be a community effort after all. :)

Re: Happy holidays!

Davidobot: It's a fairly standard genetic algorithm: a "population" of 25 random strings with the length of the message prepared in advance (well, for simplicity's sake only letters are randomized, the rest of the characters have been taken from the message). Then, it makes a copy of some ...

Re: LÖVE 0.10.0 released

OMG! :awesome: I've been away for a while, IRL stuff being kinda overwhelming, and I saw you guys made it to the top of HN so I came 'round for a quick visit. I'm so glad love.video and mobile are in! I haven't taken a real look yet, but it looks to be another solid release. Now, hopefully I'll soon...

Re: Making Savegames

i wrote an easy method, just copy the table you need into file as lua script. the output is string, you can print it to test. Note that that method doesn't deal with cycles or some other types of data: strings containing ", nan, inf, keys that aren't strings or numbers, values that aren't tabl...

Re: Lady: making savegames easy

I'm sorry, your save file has more than 65536 constants, and Lua can't handle it. There is no way Lady can help you, unless you find a way to make the dungeon much, much smaller in terms of values used. I suggest using [wiki]binser[/wiki], which doesn't store you savegame as Lua. Binser supports mid...

Re: "Questions that don't deserve their own thread" thread

If you had zipped the contents of the folder "basics", then you could rename that to .love, but anyway.

I can't reproduce your error, it all works fine.

Re: "Questions that don't deserve their own thread" thread

You know, it would be much more helpful if you uploaded a .love of that instead of a screenshot.
