Done! De-privatised the repo, that is. It's now owned by the British Governmentjosefnpat wrote:@bartbes/@lafolie - mind opening up the access on the bitbucket repo? This seems like a fun game to port to the OUYA w/ controllers, etc.

Re: [LD29] Underwater Mech Fighter
I think it does... I'm not sure, though. I've never encountered an error before, but I've also never used shaders. It might be the image format, though. My computer couldn't read them until I set them to open with Gimp... That's odd, all the images are just png files. I just realised that I actuall...

Re: UnLöve: Zombie Survival [Alpha?!?!]
Huh? Not at all, this game is essentially a poorly written/executed Robotron.

Re: Shooter - My "First" Game
It's mainly ineptitude on my part (I prefer to use a controller where appropriate). The 'floaty' physics make the platforming tough, and I think that works well for this game as the platforming is a major part of the challenge. I really liked the difference between the weapons in that they get harde...

Re: Shooter - My "First" Game
This is really cool. Unfortunately I'm inept at keyboard controls, so I doubt I'll be able to finish it (this game is hard, and rightfully so) but I will try. I beat the second boss and died shortly after. Love it so far, it just needs some sound. Oh, and I think it would be really nice to get some ...

Re: Arrow Wars
Cool little demo. You should consider building on what you have; polish it up a little and you'd have a solid game in your portfolio. Some points to consider: Controls are a little unintuitive (controller support would be awesome!) It's possible to get stuck in places - the edge of the screen was pr...

Re: Customize an image
It sounds like you want to create composited images for the player graphics. Along with the dynamic colour settings suggested by micha you may want to create an image that is made up of several component images. For example, you could use a base sprite for the portrait and overlay the appropriate ha...

I'll just leave this here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=20014&p=84933&hilit=%2AMMO%2A#p84933 (ignore the middle part about it being boring, it's more about the first/last paragraphs and link).

Re: My object is not working?
Ah! That's awesome. I haven't played around with metatables for a while. This is why I use a class lib someone else made!
