Re: LÖVE Jam

Just looking over the games, I'm pretty impressed! I didn't imagine there would be 36 entries. Great job everybody. Maybe I'll be able to participate next time :)

Re: My submission to LÖVE Jam - Minimalistic Spaceship War

Looks good, nice work! (The red guys look like Slime's avatar :))

If you're looking for ways to develop the game further, a good place to start would be powerups/different ammo types.

Re: [WIP] shooting game

This is really good, but I feel like it could be much better with some minimal sound effects. Nice work :)

EDIT: I've decided to go for extra points, attachment edited.
Decompressing the code? I should have thought of that!
(That does seem like a bit against the spirit of the challenge )

Re: Tic Tac Toe 1k Challenge

Got everything but the AI and color. Minified file comes in at 864 bytes, though the unminified one is also less than 1K. Pretty good challenge!
Mine's here.

Re: dynamic updates or patches

You can also check this out to get an idea of how to make an (albeit, somewhat unsafe) auto-updater.

Re: GG - tactical top down shooter

Take a look at how big games like Garry's Mod handle modding. I would not recommend having users edit existing files. What happens when the game updates? The user has to re-copy and paste each mod they've downloaded, and it also makes it a pain to handle.
