Re: LOVE should stop ignoring serious developers

Honestly, as a fairly serious developer I haven't actually run into any issues that stem from what you've listed above. No framework can perfectly cover all use cases, but for the things that LOVE is good at I find it excellent . Looking at your post history, I'm noticing mostly benchmarks and reque...

Re: What are your mental or psychological barriers to project success?

Honestly, I don't feel like I've got any major mental barriers at this point... I used to have that very programmer-y grade of NIH where I had to make everything myself in low-level langs, even down to silly things like basic 3d math and 'standard library' type features , but these days I've mellowe...

Re: Untitled RPG Project

Thank you for the kinda words and feedback! recovery is slow but steady, and I fully intend to keep powering through on this (albeit at a very relaxed pace until I'm better). For more context on those map skills (hopefully I'm not repeating myself, I don't recall if I mentioned this here or not), th...

I have no interest in joining a team, but I might contribute if it takes off. That's one of the nice things about open source after all!

Re: Ruff Landing

Back at my main pc. According to my NPM package cache I'm running with love.js version 11.3.1 (which is interesting because my local love install was updated to 11.4...) 11.4.1 was released before the post you made, so most likely (you may want to verify this) it's what you're running. Maybe...

Re: Ruff Landing

Thanks for the feedback! Shoulda made the scale adjustable, but I kinda ran out of time... How did you get the web version to work on itch? That did not work for me. (see viewtopic.php?f=5&t=93310&p=251934#p251934 and following posts) On my end I'm not doing anything too specific I'm afraid,...

Ruff Landing

RUFF LANDING Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it! As part of a Secret Santa exchange, I made a cute lil breakout-style game about pizza toppings coming alive. It's nothing much, but given the year's health problems I'm just happy to make something complete (if a little 'ruff' around the edges)....

Re: KDP - Keyboard driven pixel art editor made in löve

Update: I kept messing with it. While it is not comfortable per se, I think there's enough promise for accessible art here that I've decided to make a fork and continue development in that direction. I'll make my own thread at some point once it's progressed somewhat, and be sure to credit you for ...
